The Butte College Foundation, President Samia Yaqub and board member and community leader Farshad Azad are thrilled to announce the Farshad Azad Social Justice Scholarship.
This new scholarship will help students who desire to make social justice a priority in their lives and want to make a difference in their communities. Students must display a commitment to addressing issues of social justice as servant leaders or as scholars. Social justice issues include civil rights, poverty, racism, income and opportunity inequality, equal justice, immigration, environment, education and more. To donate, visit lhyh.net/give.
