Funding is available to invite speakers and conduct events that bring the theme of internationalization to Butte. GEO will support your efforts to bring speakers to campus who will increase awareness of global issues and identities. Speakers should be compelling, knowledgeable, and able to present broad varieties of perspectives on a particular global issue or set of issues (or a perspective those in our campus community may rarely access). Providing links to videos of the proposed speaker speaking on the proposed topic or one that is closely related would greatly improve applicant success. Consider speakers that would enhance your class activities or support your curriculum or program.
